Tomáš Forró is a Slovak war reporter who covered the war in Ukraine. His book has been announced as a handbook of survival and social resilience for the case that war reaches us.
Why a printed book? In a crisis the internet may be down, the power may be out and your phone may be flat. Websites and apps disappear when you need them most. A book doesn’t need a charger or a signal. You can read it by headlamp in a shelter and pass it around.
Read it now, while things are calm. Mark the pages that matter to your household and talk them through. Then keep it in the kit so the knowledge is there when the screen isn’t.
Why it’s in the kit
The items in this kit are tools. Knowing how to use them, and how to think clearly when things go wrong, matters just as much. A handbook brings that knowledge together in one place.
Book details will be added after confirmation with the publisher.
