This page explains what personal data SurviKit collects, why, and what rights you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
The data controller is SurviKit. You can contact us about anything related to your data at [email protected].
What we collect
We only collect data you send us through the “I’m interested” form:
- your email address (required);
- your country (optional);
- your household size (optional);
- whether you are interested in other kits (optional);
- whether you want email updates when the kit, checklists or guides change (optional);
- the language of the form you used.
We do not ask for your name, address or phone number.
Why we collect it
We use this data for these purposes only:
- to measure how much interest there is in the kit, and in which countries and household sizes;
- to email you when the kit launches;
- only if you ticked it, to email you when the kit contents, checklists or guides change. Every such email has an unsubscribe link.
We do not send newsletters or advertising, and the form creates no obligation to buy anything.
Who processes it
Form answers are stored by Cloudflare, our hosting provider, which processes the data on our behalf. We do not store your IP address or browser details. We do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone else.
How long we keep it
We keep your data until the kit launches and for 12 months after that, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- see what data we hold about you;
- have it corrected;
- have it deleted;
- withdraw your consent at any time.
To use any of these rights, email [email protected] from the address you registered with. We will reply without undue delay. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Cookies and offline storage
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
To make the site work without internet, your browser stores copies of the pages in its cache using a service worker. This data stays on your device, is not sent to us and contains no personal information. You can remove it at any time by clearing the site data in your browser settings.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
